When I was updating wads, it was very useful, particularly when I put texture where it was missing. Hey Graf, stop yelling !!!!!! I said: Doom Legacy was able to handle changes being made on textures of a wad without hanging. Didn't figure out why it won't load them from commandline or the global.ini settings. Save and exit from Notepad Whenever gzdoom.exe is ran, the files typed in the gzdoom.ini will be automatically loaded Example from Step 7: Global.Autoload PathPROGDIR/ProjectBrutalityTest (10-1-17).pk3 PathPROGDIR/PBAllowSVCheats.pk3 PathPROGDIR/DoomMetalVol4. For Display Options > Hardware Rendering Options (for OpenGL), make sure your 'Sector light mode' is anything but Software or Vanilla as I've heard that those two are usually costly on performance. And small changes can easily be handled by the savegame code. ![]() Sometimes, it wasn't working, because the changes were very important. I had only to edit the savedgame file, to localise at the beginning the number of the version, and to change it, that was it ! I was able to enjoy the new version, using my old saved game. svcheats 2 state would serve a simple function, it would disable all of the cheats that you can use. ![]() With Doom Legacy, I never had a problem when the engine was updated between minor changes (from 1.30 to 1.34, let say).
